Finals, Sunday Oct 21

11 am – 1 .20 pm Team 1 Vs Team 2

Rules

1) Be on time. A penalty of 5 runs will be given after every 10 minutes to the team coming late. If the team does not show up after 30 minutes, the other team will be declared winner. If both the teams come late, 1 over will be reduced after every 10 minutes.

2) 2 points for the winner, 0 points for the team which loses

3) In case of tie, winner will be decided on bowl outs ( 3 bowl outs)

4) First two teams will go to finals based on total no of points they earn. If there is tie then the team with better run rate will qualify for the finals.

5) Each inning will have 7 overs. 3 overs max for one bowler and 2 for the other. Rest of the two overs should be completed by two different bowlers. A team can use more than 4 bowlers as long as they follow the above criterion.

6) In case of an argument or confusion please allow captains to speak. Players please convey your message through captain.

school if you are not from Akron

No other tshirts are allowed so kindly borrow the tshirts if you do

not have one.

Long track pants, black or blue is preferred (NO shorts

allowed)

Game dates –

10 am – 2 pm (3 matches each day) Saturday and Sunday (13 and 14^th October)

Best two teams will play final on Sunday 21^st October at 10 am.

(70 minutes for each match, and breaks between two matches.)

Entry fee is $ 5 for each player. Captains kindly submit the total fees by Thursday. A late fine of $5 will be charged each day after that. Teams failing to submit the fees will not be allowed to play the game. This money will be used for buying tennis balls and prize for the winner. So kindly submit the fees on time (Before Thursday 11^th Oct.)

Shasking007 kindly contact me with your name, Naresh we will put you in team once we have two more requests for participation (First two requests for participation (via email only) will get to be in the teams. More requests will be considered based on decision made by all the captains)

Please contact your captain ASAP with the entry fee. There will be a common practice on Saturday 6^th Oct at 5 pm on softball ground (at the intersection of Wheeler and Kling Street). This is a great and perhaps the only opportunity to practice before the game.
